Vortex supported M'Chigeeng First Nation's community EV charging launch event on Manitoulin Island. The FLO Ultra Level 3 fast charger went operational on July 9, with the first public user charging within minutes of activation. The site includes 1 × FLO Ultra Level 3 charger and 4 × FLO Core+Max Level 2 chargers. The project was delivered in partnership with FLO, 7Gen Industrial, and AddÉnergie.
Vortex participated in a half-day engagement session organized by the Trade Commissioner Service and Global Affairs Canada with the Private Infrastructure Development Group (PIDG), an international development finance organization that mobilizes private investment into sustainable and climate-aligned infrastructure in emerging markets. Vortex joined the Ontario Government Cleantech Trade Mission to Enlit Africa, one of the continent's premier power, energy, and water conferences. Represented through CIPA Holdings Group (Executive Vice President Kwaku Osei-Sarpong), Vortex engaged African utilities, project developers, government officials, and commercial partners on battery energy storage, microgrid, and low-carbon power solutions. The mission included a Canadian delegation briefing with market intelligence sessions, pre-arranged B2B meetings facilitated by Dinsmore & Associates, and a welcome reception hosted by the Canada–Africa Chamber of Business.
Vortex attended PDAC 2026, the world’s premier mineral exploration and mining convention, bringing together more than 32,000 participants for industry programming, networking, investment discussions, and business development. The event provided Vortex with an opportunity to engage mining companies, project developers, investors, and technology partners on the growing role of battery energy storage in mining operations.Vortex presented its advanced Battery Energy Storage System solutions for mining applications, including reliable power for remote operations, renewable energy integration, peak-demand management, emergency backup, and reduced dependence on diesel generation. The team also explored strategic partnerships, project financing, and opportunities to deploy Vortex’s proprietary battery management and energy-control technologies within Canadian and international mining projects.
Vortex participated in a three-day Canadian government trade mission bringing together 20 Canadian companies and Bahamian government and industry stakeholders. The mission agenda included an energy site visit to Bahamas Power & Light, an opening ceremony moderated by the Chair of The Bahamas Trade Commission, a presentation on The Bahamas' energy policy, and scheduled B2B meetings. Vortex was positioned as one of few renewable energy companies promoted into the Bahamas market.

Vortex partnered with Conestoga College's SMART Centre to develop and test power conversion systems (PCS) required for Vortex's supercapacitor battery energy storage solutions supporting fast-charge EV charging stations.
